Assess the condition of the carpet and decide the dilution rate. The recommended dilution rate is 1 to 100 or 1 part product and 100 parts water but the actual dilution rate can vary from job to job depending on the condition of the surface. If the carpet being treated is in very poor condition carpet a reduced dilution of 1 to 50 should be used. If refreshing a clean carpet a strong concentration will not be necessary so a dilution of 1 to 150 could be better.
Dilute the product inside the carpet cleaning machines solution tank
If used in conjunction with a truckmount or a carpet cleaning machine with 50 feet + hoses, add a bit of defoamer
Make sure that you use warm water instead of cold water
Pre-spray the whole surface and do not touch it for 5-10 minutes
Agitate the surface with the wand while spraying more product and extracting at the same time
Stop spraying and extract only. When no more liquid is picked up, the job is completed
The estimated drying time will vary based on the amount of liquid used, the extraction power of the carpet cleaning machine and the room ventilation
